As you may have recently caught on Facebook and other social media platforms, some footage has finally made it to the internet from May's inaugural Canton Music City Songwriter's Circle.  If you haven't gotten the chance, please take a second to watch below as I perform my own original song, "To Be a Balloon."

Hey there! Would like to say a few things before we transition into 2015...

First off, I'd like to thank everybody for such a great year! 2014 has brought me many blessings that I will not soon forget.  From my debut album and vinyl releases to the friends and fans I've met at all the shows.  It has all been very encouraging.  Endless thanks!

Secondly, I wish to air that my second release is in the works.  Some tunes done, some still being written.  Lots of ground covered but a lot still to be found.  Will keep everyone updated on that whenever some success is hit.  Also, keep an eye out for some shows in the near future. Will be getting out to some new areas!

And finally to close out the year, I wish to share that I have recently been featured in The Canton Repository's "Favorite Music of 2014" list.  Big thanks to entertainment editor Dan Kane for the inclusion on this list! You can read the full article HERE.

With all that being said, I'd like to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY New Year!

See you all soon!

Friday, August 29th, 2014 with THE SADIES

Hey, friends! Here to tell you about a big show I got coming up at the end of the month.

On the evening of Friday, August 29th, 2014, I'll have the distinct honor of opening up for Toronto country/rock veterans The Sadies at Akron's Musica,

After spending some time with The Sadies music and watching videos of their performances, I could not be anymore excited to share the stage with them.  You can expect a new and raucous set from yours truly, for I'll have to keep up somehow!

The show is set to start at 9:00pm that evening and I have pre-sale tickets available for $15.00.  I hope you can make it out! It will be one wild, neck-worthy evening.

See for yourself why this is one not to be missed and find more on The Sadies here:

W.B. Walker's Old Soul Radio Show Episode 65

Howdy, everybody!

I am very honored to share that I am one of three artists featured in the latest episode of W.B. Walker's Old Soul Radio Show along with singer/songwriters Josh Nolan and Steve Gilbert.

The Old Soul Radio Show is a great online radio program spotlighting music from different alternative country and folk singer/songwriters each and every week.  I've been listening to the show since I've long ago heard about it and am thrilled to be a part of it once again.

To listen to the episode (and all the preceding episodes as well, if you're smart) please follow this link or subscribe to the show on iTunes.  Thanks for listening! And thank you, W.B. Walker!

All Roads Lead to War/Early Days of June vinyl release!

Announcing my first vinyl release! Two of my songs, "All Roads Lead to War" and "Early Days of June" will be released through Grimtale Records on 7" vinyl this Sunday, July 13th, 2014 at 10:00pm EST.

Amazing sleeve art was produced by my friends Craig Bragg and Kevin Deems especially for this release and I couldn't be more excited or proud for you to see it.

I can tell you now that Grimtale's releases are generally very low in number and this release is certain to be limited with different colored vinyl variations thrown in the mix.  So be sure to hit grimtalerecords.com this Sunday night and get one while you can!

Thanks for reading and talk to you soon!

A thank you.

Time sure knows how to tie you up to its bumper and drag you down the road by your belt loop when it catches you with your hands full...

My album "Somewhere You'd Rather Be" has been out for about two months now and I've been receiving some tremendous support and response ever since its release.  I can hardly believe how well everything has been going and I just wanted to drop by and give the biggest THANK YOU I could possibly type.  From the bottom of my bottomless heart!
To all who have lent an ear, watched me perform or who have even just talked to me a little while about my music...you've all been blowing me away.  Sometimes it almost gets to feeling like I'm the victim of some big elaborate prank...thank you all so much for enjoying and sharing my songs.  It means the world to me.

If you haven't had the chance to hear my album yet,  it is now ready for download all across the internet on platforms such as iTunes and Amazon.  Or you can stream/purchase the album directly over on my bandcamp page!

Lots of cool stuff added to the page tonight.  Completely updated show schedule, a new video, a couple of pictures and a lyric page as well.  Even more to come in the near future, including an online store and a remodeled e-mail list.

Thanks again, my friends....and talk to you very soon!

Upcoming Shows and what-not...

In two weeks it will be 2014 and the wheel will be rolling ever faster down the hill.  But before that, I have one final show to end a great and productive year of music.  This Friday (12. 20.2013) I will be joining two local and very talented young bands, The Ladderbacks and Good Hours, at The Auricle in Canton, OH.  The show starts at 8:00pm and tickets are $5.  Please come out and spend some time with us if you are in the area and enjoy one of the last shows where you won't have to worry about me bothering you to buy a CD!

After the new year, I'm playing my first show at the newly opened Jilly's Music Room in Akron, OH on Saturday, January 4th.  I'll be sharing the evening with my good friends in Yankee Bravo and The Ryan Humbert Band.  The show is free and starts at 5pm!

And then, as you may have seen me mention before, I'll be celebrating the release of my very first record at The Auricle on Saturday, January 25th, 2014.  The record is called "Somewhere You'd Rather Be" and I could not be more excited to finally bring it to you.  Tickets for that show are now available either through me personally or online here.  I will have a lot more than my CD's to offer you at this show, including high quality prints of the evening's promotional flyers, designed by the extraordinary Craig Bragg.

Remember, you can get all of my other upcoming show information here on the website, under the "Upcoming Shows" page (go figure!).  I'll be booking a ton after the release show, so keep an eye handy.

That's all for now.  If I don't talk to you in time, then have a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years!  Thanks for reading!

A Treatise on the Global Transportation of Music in The Digital Age

Hey, everybody.  Three days ago, I announced the impending release of my very first record, Somewhere You'd Rather Be.  Ever since then I have been overwhelmed with a gracious amount of kind words and support.  I'd like to take a moment to thank everybody who has listened and shared.  It means a whole damn lot to me.

I was completely caught off guard today when a follower of mine on Instagram started complementing me on my songs.  After thanking him maybe a little bit too much he let me know that he'd give the news of my record a mention on his blog (where he reviews films and music).  So, ladies and gentlemen here is his blog post.  His name is Remy and I would like to thank him so very much for listening and caring enough to write some words about me.  It could have been anybody else. Thank you, Remy!
